Thank you, Molly!

Thank you, Molly!

Molly Reinhardt, granddaughter of Cathy & Ed O’Sullivan of Pocasset, made a generous donation to the Pocasset Water Quality Coalition (PWQC) today. Molly’s grandparents live across the street from the first of 3 PWQC rain gardens on Circuit Avenue in Pocasset. Molly has been visiting from Connecticut. She was inspired by the PWQC project to improve water quality where she swims and plays when visiting. In the photo below Molly is wearing summer bracelets which she makes herself. She also sells these bracelets, donating the proceeds for charity. PWQC is so excited to receive Molly’s 2025 donation today. Molly became an official member of PWQC with the gift of a Pocasset Water Quality Coalition T shirt. The waters of Hen Cove have been harmed by years of storm water runoff from Circuit Ave, Saco Road, and Park Street. The 3 PWQC rain gardens will start to mitigate the harmful storm water. Contaminants from the streets will be filtered by the native plants inside the rain garden before entering Hen Cove. Our project is funded by SNEP, a division of the EPA and many local businesses. The labor to build the rain gardens is provided by volunteer PWQC members.
